Prof Minna Sunikka-Blank

Minna Sunikka-Blank is Professor of Architecture and Environmental Policy at Cambridge University. She is a Director of Studies and Fellow in Architecture at Churchill College, Cambridge, and an elected member of the Research and Education Committee of the Association of Finnish Architects (SAFA).

Her projects focus on housing and social equity from a policy perspective, addressing the global crisis of affordable and sustainable housing in the context of rapid urbanisation and the climate emergency. In recent work in Eastern Africa, India, and the UK, she uses participatory methods and filmmaking to understand domestic energy transitions and the adoption of solar technologies in marginalised communities.
